Harrison Morgan Bio
Born in Miami and raised in Atlanta, Harrison Morgan was deeply influenced by his family's great interests in fine art, architecture, graphic and fashion design. He attended art schools from a very young age, culminating in his preference for fashion design as his career.
After attending Atlanta College of Art, Harrison opened a small boutique in the prestigious Buckhead area of Atlanta, featuring local designers. Atlanta's best-dressed women were attracted to his masterful merchandising of better costume jewelry, fine leather accessories and key wardrobe pieces. It was his early development of a keen eye for imaginative fashion trends that urged him to seek a larger field of expression in New York City.
In Manhattan, his design career continued with several well-known NY fashion companies developing design trends in leather, knit and woven fabrications; ultimately opening his own firm offering original styles in evening separates and hand-beaded gowns. His unique flair for fashion trends attracted buyers from upscale retailers across America. HARRISON MORGAN designs have been seen on such celebrities as Catherine Zeta Jones, Nicole Kidman, Cindy Crawford, Famke Janssen and Emily Watson, among other celebrities and socialites.
Harrison has served for more than 15 years as the principal designer and marketing director for the company that bears his name. His firm now refines it's fashion niche to two main collections, womens soft accessories and better jewelry. The 'cover-up' has proven itself year after year as Harrison's line sells through at both major department and specialty stores throughout the U.S., Europe, Japan and Canada. The most recent addition of a collection of better jewelry which combines cultured pearls and semi-precious stones into artistically feminine, elegant and wearable pieces of art.
